A general art museum founded in 1883 with an encyclopedic collection of more than 54,000 works spanning 5,000 years, set in Newfields, a 100-acre Art & Nature Park.
Highlights of the collection include African, American, Asian, European and contemporary art, textiles and fashion art, and a growing collection of design arts.The collection of Neo-Impressionist paintings is one of the most comprehensive in North America.
