Artview: Ochre Creative Studios

Exhibition Website

Fargo is fortunate to have a new emerging artist collective consisting of eight visual artists who share Ochre Creative Studios, a 1,200 square foot contemporary studio and gallery space. The artists’ three-stall garage studio, located behind the Teamster building in downtown Fargo, opened in Spring 2016 after several students at NDSU decided to secure a space where they could create work year-round. Within this raw and undefined space, there is a spirit of collaboration and creative exchange as each artist works to further their individual practice. Ochre Creative Studios also creates opportunities for other local artists to exhibit work by hosting gallery shows and openings, amplifying the creative vitality of our community.

This exhibition features recent work by all eight current members of the Ochre Creative Studios collective: Emily Beaman, Emma Beatrez, Tyler Gefroh, Ben Neyers, Andrea Qual, Nikayla Snyder and Michael Waltz. Bringing together an array of aesthetics and imagery, this exhibition showcases collective learning and individual evolution. You can find more information about Ochre Creative Studios by visiting their website.
