Water’s Edge: The Art of Truman Lowe presents the work of one of the most acclaimed Indigenous sculptors of his generation. 

Known for his striking sculptures and drawings inspired by rivers, woodlands, and Hooçak cultural traditions, this major retrospective brings together works spanning Lowe’s career, offering visitors a chance to experience his deep connection to water, landscape, and place.

The exhibition was organized by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian and curated by Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art Rebecca Head Trautmann.
