The Mathematical, Metaphysical, Mirthful and Musical Paintings of Gregory Horndeski

Horndeski began painting in earnest in 1981 and soon traded oil paint and brushes for acrylic paint and knives. Horndeski’s unique style developed further when he began pouring paint directly on the canvas. A selftaught painter, Horndeski lists Van Gogh, Magritte and Pollock as primary influences in shaping his expressionistic style.
