Making Our World More Beautiful: The Collection of Sam and Jean Bibler

Exhibition Website

Dec 9 2017 - Feb 10 2018

Longtime residents of Kalispell know the history and contributions of Sam and Jean Bibler. Sam's community spirit was garnered early on for the Junk Yard cleanup in 1971 at the south end of town. He was also a key player in the Conrad Mansion restoration and the Woodland Park rehabilitation in the late 1970s. Jean enjoyed helping fellow community members on a more personal level and supporting Sam in his efforts.

Their gardens at their first home in downtown Kalispell and later on at Lake Hills Drive were always incredible. The Bibler Foundation continues this tradition with tours and events at the Bibler Gardens every year.

The Biblers were also known for their large and varied art collection. From Inuit sculptures to Persian rugs, and antique furniture to European paintings, their collection is as varied as the flowers in the gardens.
