Long Island's Best: Young Artists at The Heckscher Museum 2019

Don't miss the chance to see this exhibit of extraordinary artwork created by young artists in the Long Island community! Each year, this arts-in-education initiative challenges students in grades 9 through 12 from high schools across Nassau and Suffolk counties to choose a work of art in the Museum as the starting point for their own creative exploration. Hundreds of students from more than 50 schools submit artwork, with approximately 80 pieces selected for display.
