As part of the Richland One Costume Design Program, students work with Richland One Arts Coordinator Nancy Pope and theater and visual arts teachers to interpret characters from literature. Middle and high school students create sketches and construct designs to bring these literary characters to life through costume. While explaining their process, student designers present their finished costumes at the Opening Party for CUT! Costume and the Cinema. The sketches and costumes will be exhibited in the Interactive Education Gallery, where visitors can try on period-inspired costumes.
