Exhibition Website

Feb 13 2016 - Aug 6 2017

The Taubman Museum of Art plans a major exhibition highlighting new gifts of art to its collection, never before seen by the community. The exhibition, Friends and Neighbors: A Celebration of the Collection honors individuals who graciously helped build the museum’s core educational resource: its collection of renowned art. Friends and Neighbors: A Celebration of the Collection debuts new work given by donors, many of whom are from the region (known as Neighbors) and presents both regional and nationally known artists (known as Friends). The museum also sees the exhibition as a way to engage new audiences to the museum, thereby engaging new “friends” and “neighbors.”
