Victorian conservatory and its surrounding fourteen-acre gardens lie to the north and west of the zoo within Lincoln Park.
The conservatory and its gardens were listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The conservatory is surrounded by a garden containing more than 150 coniferous trees and shrubs. The grounds include the Caldwell Lily Pond, North Pond Nature Sanctuary, and the Lincoln Monnument and Gardens.
