The Alta Vista Botanical Gardens cosists of 16 acres of designated ecological landscapes containing collections of plants native to areas around the globe.
The site includes California Natives, Mediterranean, Pan Asian, South African and Australian gardens, plus cycads, rare fruit, herbs, a labyrinth, a jungle shade garden and more.
From sculptures to garden-art to walkways, benches and walls, the Gardens are filled with creations by some of the areas most talented artisans. Artworks include five whimsical culinary-themed sculptures in the culinary garden, abstract works, and numerous representations of botanical subjects.
