One and a half miles of paths lead through formal and whimsical gardens.

Features include Old World walled gardens, Mediterranean and Desert conservatories,  a Curandera (healer) garden, Japanese and Children's gardens, a Rio Grande heritage farm, a butterfly pavilion and dragonfly sanctuary pond. The five-acre Cottonwood Gallery showcases a unique restored bosque with a canopy of mature cottonwoods and an under-story of native trees and bushes.
