The climate of San Francisco allows a wide array of plants from around the world to be grown. This unique urban oasis, located in Golden Gate Park, is comprised of 55 acres of both landscaped gardens and open spaces. 

More than 9000 different kinds of plants include an American pine glade, an Andean cloud forest, a succulent garden, bamboo forest, as well as a fragrance garden, rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias.
