The Museum was founded in 2008 be a group of collectors wanting to share their large and growing collections of Gib Singleton (sculptor, 1935-2014) and Earl Biss (painter, 1947-1998) work.
The mission of the museum is to preserve, exhibit, interpret and expand its collection of contemporary American visual arts, and to inspire interest int the importance of modern American artists.
