Located at Pepperdine University, in the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts on the Malibu campus, the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art was founded in 1992 through the generosity of Frederick Weisman, an extraordinary entrepreneur, philanthropist, and art collector who believed deeply in the cultural value of art.
The museum showcases historical and contemporary art by nationally recognized artists, but focuses on the art of California.
