The Underground Museum, located in Arlington Heights -- a neighborhood just east of Mid-City and south of Koreatown—is a satellite art space that hosts a series of exhibitions on loan from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art, in an effort to bring art to an underserved community.

Founded by artists Noah and Karon Davis in 2012, The Underground Museum (The UM) is an arts and culture center operating out of four converted storefronts in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. THE UM brings art experiences traditionally reserved for major institutions to diverse audiences for free. The UM believes that art is an essential part of a vibrant, just, and healthy society and that increasing access to art will inspire, educate, and transform lives.
