Founded in 1976 by artists and supporters as a venue dedicated solely to contemporary art, the museum is a forum for the display of and discussion about artwork being made today, both locally and in the larger national and international art community.
A satellite location, Funk Zone, is located at 121 State Street in Santa Barbara.
