Founded in 1936 by a teaching artist, the museum hosts rotating exhibitions of emerging and established Bay Area artists in four galleries. Artists such as Richard Diebenkorn, Ed Rossbach and Peter Voulkos have been showcased here.
The museum also hosts an extensive program of classes supporting the art experience for all.
