Once home to the family of Louisa May Alcott, Fruitlands encompasses five collections on 210 acres of meadows and woods with stunning views. Collections encompass Transcendentalist works, Shakers works and lifestyle, paintings from the Hudson River School, and art and artifacts of Native Americans of the area, traveling contemporary exhibitions, and a strong collection of early 19th-century oil portraits.
