Part of the Seattle Art Museum (see separate listing), SAAM occupies the historic 1933 Art Moderne building which was originally home to the Seattle Art Museum's main collection.
Located in a treasured neighborhood park, it houses the Asian collection of the Seattle Art Museum as well as offering special temporary Asian art exhibitions.
