The museum's mission is to excite and educate the regional and global audiences about the world renowned glass paperweights, glass collections and changing exhibitions. It all started with Evangeline Bergstrom's love of and passion for collecting paperweights.
The collection began with 652 mostly-antique paperweights, but has grown to a total of nearly 4000 objects, including art glass, antique germanic glass, contemporary glass and other objects.
