The Museum is housed in a unique building designed collaboratively with the community.
Museum collections of over 650 objects include a significant number of works by Texas artists created since 1945, American crafts created since 1945, American painting and sculpture of all eras, American glass from the Colonial Era to Post-World War II, and Mexican and Mexican-American art of all eras.
In addition to exhibits, the museum's vaults and work areas allow visitors visual and physical access.
