The Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery at Scripps College is a teaching museum. The Gallery stewards historical and contemporary art including ceramics, Japanese prints from the 15th- through the 21st-centuries, Chinese paintings dating back six hundred years, 19th- and 20th-century paintings, a growing collection of African American contemporary art, art by female artists, and a photography collection that covers the history of the medium.
