A non-collecting organization, SCC presents contemporary art in craft media by international, national and regional artists.
SCC's focus on multicultural diversity and non-mainstream art has evolved from the belief that contemporary artists working with traditional craft materials have a unique vocabulary for these materials.
Changing exhibitions are also shown at SCC’s Satellite Gallery, located in the Steel Plaza T-Station Lobby at BNY Mellon Center.
