The Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts is located in the early-American Moravian settlement of Salem, where original structures, gardens and artifacts have been restored.

The collection includes 18th- and 19th-century furniture, utilitarian earthenware, decorated pottery, and needlework. 

The collection is displayed in changing exhibits throughout the museums.
