Open 365 days a year from 10 am to sunset, the Socrates Sculpture Park sits atop nearly five acres of landfill on the waterfront in the NYC boro of Queens.
More than 90 varieties of trees and plants -- from birch trees to weeping willows, from daffodils to roses -- share the space with large-scale sculpture and multi-media installations.
