Situated on the banks of the Hudson River, the HRM is the only museum in Westchester County that offers art, science, and history.
The permanent collection holds American art ranging from 19th-century Hudson River School paintings to contemporary art installations.
Gilded Age decorative arts are displayed in the period rooms of the historic home, Glenview (see separate listing), built in 1877, and now on the National Register of Historic Places. Glenview is adjacent and included in the HRM admission fee.
The HRM presents exhibitions throughout year.
