Not a collecting institution, the Visual Arts Center has been dedicated for more than 80 years exclusively to exhibiting contemporary art.
Curated contemporary art exhibitions featuring artistically and culturally diverse national and international emerging and established artists. Exhibitions feature artists from New Jersey and nearby New York, others from across the United States, and still others from around the world, in on-site galleries as well as several offsite art spaces.
