Boston University is not a collecting institution. Four galleries, The Stone, 808, Annex, and Sherman Galleries, maintain an ongoing schedule of temporary exhibitions that focus on contemporary international, national, and regional art developments.
The BU Art Galleries are located within walking distance on the University campus, all located in the 700 and 800-blocks of Commonwealth Avenue. The 808 Gallery is at #808, the Sherman Gallery is at #775, and The Annex and Stone galleries are at #855 Commonwealth Ave.
