The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is the only Metropolitan-Atlanta fine arts museum focusing on American Art. The permanent collection holds artwork dating from the 18th-century to the present.

The Museum occupies an historic Classical Revival building that functioned as the Cobb Country United States Post office from 1910 til 1963, and then as the Public Library until 1989. The following year, the building became the home of the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art.
