Sweepings by Cory Card

Card's Sweepings is an intimate examination of detritus. Debris, dust, lint, and hair accumulate—in corners, under furniture, or in the drain—until they are casually swept up and discarded. 

The drawings in Sweepings reveal the intricate beauty of these detrital objects, waste shed by the body or left to decay. They simultaneously animate and arrest the intimate, if overlooked, evidence of our inevitable disintegration.
