Assaf Evron & Claudia Weber

Mies van der Rohe's McCormick House will be the site of a two-person show of Chicago-based artists Assaf Evron and Claudia Weber. The Israeli-born Evron will create an installation inspired by Mies’s handmade collages to connect features of architecture with ideas about immigration, including his own personal experiences. The German-born Weber will use the other half of the McCormick House as an experimental residence, studio, and exhibition space. The international dialogue between the two artists will be on view during the museum’s exhibition “The Whole World a Bauhaus”.
