Healing Nature: Human Vision, Art & the Environment

We are in the midst of a turbulent time for the interaction of human activity and forces of nature. Through the 56 works of art in this exhibition, artists express in many media their relationship to the natural world and/or their response to the issues confronting our environment.

The title, Healing Nature was chosen because it can be interpreted in many ways, and can be read as an active or descriptive phrase. Can We Heal Nature? Can Nature Heal Us? Do Humans have a "Healing Nature"? Does Art have a "Healing Nature?" Does Nature have its own Healing Qualities?
