One of the longstanding features in the Huntington Museum of Art’s 65-year history has been a juried exhibition that showcases the work of regional artists. In 1953, not long after the museum opened its doors, an annual show titled Exhibition 80 was initiated to present the work of artists who lived within an 80-mile radius of Huntington. Always eagerly anticipated, the show would later expand its territorial limits to become Exhibition 180 and in ensuing years Exhibition 280.
