2018 Martin Shallenberger Artist in Residence – Gabriel Dawe

Cheekwood welcomes Gabriel Dawe as its 2018 Artist in Residence. Originally from Mexico City, Gabriel Dawe creates site-specific installations that explore the connection between fashion and architecture, shapes and forms. Centered in the exploration of textiles, Dawe’s site-specific works feature three-dimensional, tangible prisms of light and color.
