The practice of printmaking is understood as the tedious and laborious work of art on paper. It is a form of art making that has a direct relationship to mass culture, and allows the artist to make serial or repeatable works. Artists today, however, are playing with scale and experimenting to create wall-sized installation, creating enormous impressions on the viewer. Printstallations presents the monumental sized works of print-based artists. Artists in the show include: Sarah Amos; Kyoko Fischer; Beth Howe and Clive McCarthy; Pantea Karimi; Fanny Retsek; Meghann Riepenhoff; Sarah Sanford; and Stephen Whisler.
