13th Illustrator Show – Children’s Storybook Illustrator Gennady Spirin

The Brinton Museum presents the 13th Illustrator Show in March & April, featuring Russian born artist and children’s storybook illustrator Gennady Spirin. Highly-acclaimed for his richly detailed illustrations, Spirin has been aptly described as a magician who creates fairy-tale worlds. He is the recipient of five Gold Medals of the Society of Illustrators (NYC) and Best Illustrated Book of the Year designation by the New York Times for four children’s picture books. Original illustrations from children’s books in The Brinton’s Show include Joy To The World, Little Mermaid and Ugly Duckling, The Story of Noah and the Ark, We Three Kings, Little Red Riding Hood, The Tempest, Moses – The Long Road To Freedom, and The Velveteen Rabbit.
