Counterpoints is an exhibition featuring artworks by Colorado based father/son duo, Charles and Collin Parson.

Eight outdoor sculptures by Charles and Collin Parson have been placed at Greenwood Village's Westlands Park. MOA partnered with the city of Greenwood Village and the Greenwood Village Arts & Humanities Council in placing the artwork, which will be on view through August 9, 2018. The park is located at 5701 South Quebec Street, Greenwood Village, CO.

Charles and Collin Parson respond and react to each other's work, both in concept and format. Each artist creates objects that remind viewers of the extraordinary possibilities intrinsic in common, often industrial, materials, building on the structures of geometric forms underlying our world. This exhibit is an artistic bridge of the two generations, presenting an opportunity to harmonize and at times, contrast today's definitions of artistic expression.

With the common bonds of time and place, and the ongoing saturated presence of their artistic roles in this region, their separate visual vocabularies speak to the 21st century's experience of living in the Western United States. The distinctions of views of light and shadow, massive scale and delicateness, expansive space and airy atmosphere address the connections of landscapes and passages of time.
