View Finders: Four Photographic Voices

View Finders: Four Photographic Voices illuminates the work of four contemporary photographers in Bucks County—Brian Peterson, Paula Chamlee, Michael A. Smith, and Catherine Jansen—whose visual voices document landscapes and lives across the globe. The exhibition will include Peterson’s riveting abstractions of nature; Chamlee’s interdisciplinary practice that captures rhythmic organic forms; Smith’s humanizing portraits of a multi-ethnic community in Broward County, Florida, on display for the first time; and Jansen’s 1008 PROJECT that explores everyday rituals and the vibrant culture of India. Realized on the occasion of the Michener’s 30th Anniversary, the project will engage audiences in a celebration of photography as a significant force in the artistic legacy of Bucks County.
