Material Slip

Artists Margery Amdur (Philadelphia, PA), Diana Baumbach (Laramie, Wyoming), Josephine Cachemaille (Auckland, NZ), Emma Fitts (Christchurch, NZ), Michelle Forsyth (Toronto, Canada), Wendy Kawabata (Honolulu, Hawaii), and Io Palmer (Pullman, WA) isolate and subvert materials to pose questions about the role of materials and the handmade in the 21st century. In this exhibition the artists present work that has developed out of similar methodologies, but is visually distinct.
