Experience the Spokane Watercolor Society (SWS) 2017 Open Juried Exhibit, now showing through Sunday, October 29, 2017, in the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture’s Helen South Alexander Gallery. The SWS 2017 show features 56 works of art, juried by award-winning watercolorist Jean Pederson. The show is open for viewing during normal museum visiting hours.
The Spokane Watercolor Society (SWS) is a regional group of watercolor professionals and enthusiasts, originally formed in 1954 and currently consisting in excess of 50 members. The mission of SWS is to foster the development and growth of artists in the medium of watercolor as well as to promote watercolor art.
