Binding the Clouds: The Art of Central Asian Ikat

In the region that is now Uzbekistan, oasis towns were once awash with the rainbow colors of ikat fabrics. Through exceptional artworks recently donated to the museum, this exhibition focuses on the sophisticated dyeing technique known as "binding the clouds."
