Vibrant Reality: The Art of Leigh Murphy

Award-winning watercolor and oil painter, Leigh Murphy, says she “draws with watercolor and oil and doesn’t use particularly painterly techniques”. He technique of using then layers to build amazing packages of color has been recognized by The American Watercolor Society where she is a Signature Member and also by the Oil Painters of American in its juried national exhibition.

Her figurative work has won more than 100 awards, and the Jacksonville native will be exhibiting in the Halifax area for the first time.
