Detention Nation

The Texas/Mexico art collective Sin Huellas has created a thought provoking installation entitled Detention Nation. A chain link fence topped with barbed wire surrounds the exhibition and highlights the harsh realities faced by U.S. immigrants who find themselves incarcerated in immigration detention facilities. Sin Huellas members include Delilah Montoya, Christina Sisk, Brenda Cruz-Wolf, Deyadira Trevino, Hope Sanford, Selene Cortez, and Carlos Carrasco.
