One Man Group Show: The Art of Matthew Diffee

Matt Diffee, a cartoonist for The New Yorker, is also an accomplished fine artist and illustrator. Playing on his sense of humor, Diffee will present each body of work through a different persona, complete with artist statements. The exhibition includes original single-panel, black and white cartoons featured in The New Yorker; full-panel color cartoons created for Texas Monthly; hundreds of “Diffee Doodles”; illustrations produced for blue-grass bands; and fine art paintings and collages.
