The​ ​Vault

This​ ​work​ ​was​ ​selected​ ​by​ ​Haley​ ​Clayton​ ​(class​ ​of​ ​2017),​ ​who​ ​explains:​ ​“Henricksen​ ​was​ ​my great​ ​grandfather​ ​through​ ​marriage,​ ​so​ ​I​ ​have​ ​been​ ​exposed​ ​to​ ​a​ ​lot​ ​of​ ​his​ ​work​ ​throughout​ ​my life.​ ​When​ ​I​ ​found​ ​out​ ​that​ ​I​ ​would​ ​be​ ​able​ ​to​ ​pick​ ​a​ ​piece​ ​from​ ​the​ ​collection​ ​to​ ​display,​ ​I​ ​knew right​ ​away​ ​that​ ​I​ ​wanted​ ​to​ ​honor​ ​him​ ​with​ ​my​ ​decision.

The​ ​Vault,​ ​which​ ​also​ ​houses​ ​some​ ​of​ ​the​ ​works​ ​from​ ​our​ ​permanent​ ​collection,​ ​is​ ​dedicated​ ​to featuring​ ​and​ ​displaying​ ​works​ ​chosen​ ​by​ ​MSU​ ​students​ ​who​ ​work​ ​at​ ​the​ ​museum.​
