The Scarf: Joan O’Beirne

Bright orange exterior extension cord crocheted into a scarf scaled for a giant is the basis of an ongoing series of photographs by O’Beirne. Printed on aluminum panels in shimmering shades of gray and black, the abstracted intertwined loops create a mysterious universe that is at once cosmic and sub-atomic.
