Kiyochika & Japan, Transformed: Prints

Rather than depicting the colorful cityscapes of traditional woodblock prints from the Edo period, Kiyochika focused on the transformative effects of light and shadow, depicting his subjects, from both the old and new worlds, at dawn, dusk, and night.
