Majestic Ceremony: Royal Court Paintings of the Joseon Dynasty will feature four paintings by Chee Seok Hwang who is a master of depicting the Joseon Dynasty court paintings. With works such as folding screens, and Uigwe (의궤) paintings, a collection of detailed recordings of royal ceremonies and rituals of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea (1392-1910), the works are representative of the ideas and values of the time. The artworks will be shown in a unique area of the center, the Sarangbang, a specially reconstructed room of one of the most iconic living spaces of the Joseon Dynasty home.
