Tones of a New Day: The Works of Radford Wine features landscapes, waterscapes, and painted furniture by Radford Wine, an accomplished Shenandoah Valley artist whose career spans more than 30 years.
For nearly a decade, Wine has struggled with chronic pain that limited his ability to paint. During this time he created two new works that will make their debut in Tones of a New Day. Radford Wine’s work captures the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Potomac River with a softness and tonality inspired by Claude Monet, J. M. W. Turner, and Fredric Edwin Church.
