Martorell in the House

Exhibition Website

Sep 22 2016 - Apr 1 2017

Antonio Martorell returns to The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture with an exhibit featuring a selection of six portfolios he produced during his prolific artistic career and two large-scale woodblocks on fabric dedicated to Oscar López Rivera.

With an uninterrupted creative production of over 50 years, the artist gives back to his family, the community, the outcome of his gaze and reflection. Martorell embellishes the house with mirrors, images that translate intense histories from visual and graphic languages that he manages with the pleasure and mastery of his craft.
